Trips the breaker then dies completelyAlong with multiple other reviews this microwave started tripping the breaker multiple times. I replaced the breaker to be sure it wasn't an electrical issue and tried using another circuit but it still tripped. Then it died completely. Looks like this has been going on for some time and they haven't done anything to help customers out of warranty. I will call Frigidaire on Monday and update this review if they are willing to replace or repair this obviously problematic model of microwave.

If you do buy this, expect it to last until just past the warranty. It will then start tripping the breaker. After some research, I realized this defect is known to Frigidaire, and they are still selling defective units.

I would not purchase this item. The handle is defective and is peeling and Fridigire will not replace the handle free of charge. They wanted to charge me $159.00 for a new handle. When clearly it is defective. Poor Customer Service!

My Frigidaire model LFMV1645TF died today. It has been 2.5 years since I bought this house with this brand new unit inside. I opened the door (before the worlds most annoying alarm) could go off and as I opened it everything just shut down. The breaker had gone off and I reset the fuse box and it has no reaction. It seems the microwave function didn't shut off when I opened the door and it shocked the system right to the breaker. The breaker is meant to protect from surges which are normally from external sources which would protect the appliances. Not so much when the shock comes from the appliance itself. Frigidaire Microwave Model LFMV1645TFThe best thing this unit ever did for me was to kill itself. The beep is the most annoying and never ending beep of all time. God forbid someone leave something in the microwave for more than 5 seconds without being reminded with an ear piercing annoying fire alarm quality tone that makes you want to physically attack your microwave.

My purchase of this microwave 2 years ago already DIED. Popping breakers everytime its attempted use. Tried multiple breakers, issue is microwave. Contacted support, they told me 1 year warranty. This is garbage

This microwave is awesome! It heats things up much faster than other microwaves I have used in the past. The only downside is the alarm has the most annoying beep, and it beeps 3 times, which is overkill. It also continues to beep 3 times every minute that you leave food in the microwave or don't turn the timer off.

I™™ve had this microwave for 3 months. I really enjoy how large it is internally and the consistency of heating. It looks great hanging below my cabinets. Easy to clean as well.

Been using this for about a month now, it fit my spot perfectly and has been delightful to use. It has all the features that you need and what I really love about it is how quiet it is to operate, at least half the volume of my old microwave. We would buy again!!

I've had the microwave for a 1 1/2 years started making a loud popping sound and blue arch in control module when you turn it on. Would not recommend this product.

Do NOT buy this microwave. It only lasted 2 years 5 months before totally dying. Also the incessant beeping after finished cooking is ridiculous, and there's no way to turn it off. I did not realize when I purchased it that it's only a 1000 watt microwave--big difference from prior 1100 watt microwave. Takes much longer to cook things and simply cannot adequately cook some microwavable foods. I'll never buy another Frigidaire microwave.

I bought a new home a year ago, the home included all Frigidaire products including microwave. I™™m not really impressed. The turntable has stopped working and all the food is burning. I contacted the builder and they said there may be a turn on/off feature. I™™ve looked at all the manuals and have tried calling several times to see what I need to do to no avail.

Honestly, we just needed a microwave that didn't smell like our old one... What we got was way better! Surprisingly easy to install over the oven, great lights in and below the microwave, and the best part is how customizable it is. Who knew you could soften butter without melting it completely? But the real treat? We can turn off the sound notifications when someone is asleep and the other one doesn't want to wake them up.

I bought this about a year ago when I remodeled my kitchen. It works OK as a microwave, although the special functions don't seem particularly effective.But my god, the beeping! When it finishes, it beeps. Then it beeps again. And again. And again. And again. on and on and on until you can get your attention back to it and open the door or press "stop".This is a range hood. Most of the time I'm standing right in front of it with my attention focused on the pans cooking on the range-top. I don't need to be notified over and over and over and over that the thing has finished.Seriously, if there was a way to change this, I would give it at least 4 stars. But if this hasn't been changed in the current models I can only say run as far away as you can get.

I have the same problem as everyone else in thread, it kept breaking my breaker!! The first time this happened it was still under warranty and we had to wait for almost a month for the service tech to get the parts shipped in. Everything worked great for about another 6 or 7 months and then it happened again!! Frigidaire should honor their products and offer a warranty to cover this issue!!! Very disappointed with this product and I will never purchase anything Frigidaire again!

The microwave works fine but the light is a very intense bright interrogation white. Not the inviting soft white, one would expect. We did not get to see what the light looked like in the store, and never in a million yearS would I have expected an appliance to use this type of light. All of our other appliances are Frigidaire, and they use a beautiful soft white light. I™™m now pigeonholed into using this because my husband installed it, and doesn™™t want to uninstall it. One customer even made a YouTube video explaining how to change the light using photography film over the glass plate. I know there are much bigger problems in the world, but honestly if I was going to spend $300 it would be on a microwave with a nice light™¦

I was replacing other model on Frigidaire microwave in my house, other model stopped working after about a year of service. I picked this model because of price. I did installation myself, it was very easy and everything matched previous model. Using it for about 1 month and so far so good, only difference I found in this model was door is lighter and closes with higher sound.

We ended up with this microwave in error (long story). After much consideration, we decided to keep it. We have been pleased with it. The only comment I have is that when you open the door, it seems a little cheap. However, I would still recommend.
